About the Flack Trust

The Trust was constituted under the Will of Edwin Harold Flack, who died on 10 January 1935.

The majority of Edwin Flack’s estate was left in trust for charitable purposes, in perpetuity. Subject to the conditions under the Will, distributions to charities are made entirely at the discretion of the trustees on the basis of funding requests made by eligible charities and institutions.

All applications are by invitation. Selected organisations will be personally advised by mail they have been invited to apply, together with all necessary application information and dates.

It is anticipated that your organisation will be notified in writing by the Trustees of the outcome of your funding request in August. If your application was successful, payment will be made to your organisation no later than 30 September.
